I'm converting my blog to Octopress. WordPress is powerful and featureful and has a phenomenally large ecosystem, which is why I originally decided to use it. But my poor, puny shared hosting environment on Dreamhost wasn't able to handle the WP installation's beefy demands. Besides, I wanted more control over the kinds of content I produce, which realistically means choosing simpler, cleaner systems with less PHP sadness.

The conversion process will take some time, and there will undoubtedly be broken links, missing comments, and 404ing images. If you find something that needs fixing, please let me know.
